best song EVER!! & on the death of the american male barber
BEST SONG EVER:
"Om Shanti Om"
Artist: Laxmikant Pyarelal
album: Karz (soundtrack)
this song is from the 80s (i think?!) and i first saw it in an
indian moive. i think its from the 80s b/c the song features
a rap...if its from the 70s...then maybe india is the original
source for rap music!! now theres a theory! but anywho, check
this song out and i promise you will not be disapointed!
btw, the new movie 'bride and prejudice' is an awsome movie
w/ more awsome indian music. man, that is a freaky ass culture:
arranged marriages, dots on the forehead, a caste system with its
untounchables, elephant and multi-armed gods, a fetish appreciation
for horse porn, musicals & cricket, a holy river peeps like to bath in,
and a freaky ass bible they called the vedas...but who am i to
judge?

ON THE DEATH OF THE AMERICAN MALE BARBER
ill write more about this later, but for starters...i tried to frequent
a tradational male american barber, something i had abboned in my
youth when my mom started taking me to the hair salon. but i have
since decided to ditch the barber for good (unless i need a shave),
and instead go to a tradational hair saloon with women.
why?
b/c damn, it just feels better! getting your hair cut is a sensual
thing (like a message or s.thing) and it just feels all weird for a guy
to do it. (for some reason it would feel better for a gay male to do
it) and im not going to lie, i kind of get my jollies w/ a attarative
female touching on my hair and what not.
sorry barber dudes....
what am i supposed to do? i feel bad, but should i not spend my
hard earned dollar on the service i most enjoy?
more later....
